one exam down!!!
but one more to go, plus story. which i haven't touched for weeks. which i can't even think about without stressing about the intervening exam.
so here's the plan. i go to my latin exam monday morning, blitz it (of course), come home and sleep for a few hours. then i wake up and writewritewrite all night long. i try to remember my commentary. i hand it in first thing tuesday morning, take chris into town to pick up halo2, come home, sleep all day, then go to work that night. simple! now, if only i can get my brain to agree with this schedule...

so, what's wrong with my study methods?
A) my belief that i should reward 5 minutes of study with at least an hour of distraction
b) my inability to stick to my own rules eg. no crappy tv until exams are over, get up before midday to get more library time
c) my deeply held faith that it will all work out fine somehow

i'm sure there's more, but they're the big ones. BUT if i doo manage not to fail and die, this time next week, i'll (theoretically) have a degree. mcdonalds career, here i come!

hmm, contemplating my story (because i should be contemplating an essay). is it a cliche if laura receives info on the alien culture in a dream/while unconscious? otherwise, i'm not sure how she works everything out.
also, on the subject of my essay - if anyone knows anything about greek/roman didactic poetry, tell me all. i'm not too hopeful on this one.
